There are estate companies and then there is Linda and Gary. I had been a shopper of theirs for many years and just gotten to the point of my collecting that I had enough stuff.
1. As a shopper- their estate sales are impeccable. They actually clean items, make them look pretty and the houses always feel warm and inviting and grouped well- and as a silver collector- I appreciate that when you are shopping in the haste of a sale. They have staff in every room and they write your items down and give you a slip.. It makes checkout soooo quick so that I can get to the next sale... Their staff works like family...although only Gary and Linda are married- the staff are so nice!!
So I have grown over the years to trust them and grow a friendship with them.
2. One day last year, I woke up and realized I needed to sell off some of my earlier collections to clear space for upgraded purchases.. I interviewed many other estate companies and just knew that Legacy was the right fit. Linda took my items on consignment and sold them for even more money that I was expecting and a lot of things brought more money than I paid- I am thrilled. Best experience. They also have taken great care and respect with my items which I appreciate the most. I also like the fact that Linda does not "museum price"... She has a
pulse of what is realistic in the market to sell things at and talked to me honestly about what to expect.. And couldn't believe she picked up items at my office and even has come to my home to price items that she took on consignment. Best thing- she has paid me consistently after each batch that she sells along with a list. She's the most honest person I have ever had the pleasure to know! You will not find a harder working company in this business!! Anyone that reads this is welcome to contact me for more details of what I have sold. Oh. Almost forgot- I gave a bracelet to Stella who sells their jewelry at the sales... I didn't think it was gold... Well Stella tested it and to my surprise, they returned a hefty check to me for selling it...so honest. I was shocked!! They could have easily told me it was fake... This is the kind of company you want to trust your items to.

Well.organized routes. They announced the sales days ahead. You have to come early because their estate sales are the bomb! Lots of nice stuff, great for heirlooms. Prices can be adjusted to a reasonable price. Lots of attendants. They take credit cards and they have bags and packing stuff to load the fragile items. You gotta get them!

In the last few months, I have become addicted to shopping at estate sales. Those which have been run by Legacy have been among the most satisfying and fun shopping experiences. Linda and Gary are lovely people who are fair and pleasant to be around. Kudos to Stella, the jewelry expert, who has taught me a lot about how to appreciate vintage pieces!

All I can say is Wow!!! Linda and Gary are the dynamic duo! They are both kind, professional, knowledgeable, resourceful and honest. Feeling overwhelmed and not having any indication of how to go about liquidating a mountain high of possession, they made the 1.15 hour drive, for a free consultation. What's even most impressive, although their services were not best suited for my needs, they pointed me in the right direct. Not only is there a vast difference between a "garage" sale and an "estate" sale; I learned quickly there is Legacy Estate Sales with Linda leading her team of professionals and then there is "the rest".
When faced with moving my elderly parents out of their Tarzana home where they lived and accumulated EVERYTHING for 46 years; my sister and I were overwhelmed, to say the least.
To our rescue came Linda, Gary and their crew of highly knowledgeable professional, hardest working individuals.
Linda has vision, insight and knowledge beyond any I've ever encountered in this field. She truly "hand squeezes" lemonade out of lemons she is handed at each sale. You might see an insurmountable mess...Linda sees and executes her vision of individually priced, strategically placed, beautifully displayed and organized "stuff" becoming a beautiful "store" within each home she conducts sales.
I am also proud to call she, Gary and their staff my friends. They are the most trustworthy "bunch" you will ever meet. Their honesty, sense of humor and most of all true integrity makes each sale a success far beyond anyone's expectations.

I have known and used Legacy Estate Sales now for several years and several moves for both family and referrals including my own move. Linda and her team always do a spectacular job in organization and sales and I believe, maximize proceeds. They really know what things are worth and, by way of example, we had a diamond and gold pendant which we could not sell for more than $200 at a Gold and Jewelry place and Linda got $1500 for it. I can't say enough about Legacy and the people and I will continue to recommend them in the future.

I decided to contact Legacy Estate Sales after looking at their website and seeing their reviews, but nothing could have prepared me for just how special this company really is. Linda was professional on the phone, she got straight down to business and set up a time to come and see the home.
Once she got there, I really realized just how much she understood this business. Not only was she knowledgeable and courteous, but she really understood the delicate nature of what I'm sure is common with most Estate sales. She was kind and caring about the circumstances that caused the need for the sale, and respectful of the items in the home. She understood the value of not only the pieces in the home, but also the value of organization, and strong management.
After meeting her, I knew that Legacy was the right choice, because NONE of the other companies even came close to her level of professionalism, kindness and knowledge. What also set Legacy above every other company I met, (and I met with five others), is that they were licensed and bonded. Seems like standard stuff, but only 2 others had an actual license and none were bonded.
Once the date for the sale was set, she brought her team in to organize and prepare. They were every bit as amazing as she was. Kind and respectful, they organized the home and all the items in it to best maximize the space and the kinds of items. They did research to correctly price things, and they did a HUGE amount of work in a very efficient manner. They were friendly and smiled every time they saw me. It really makes a huge impact, to have people who genuinely care about what they are doing. Their professionalism showed in EVERYTHING they did.
The sale was beautifully organized and managed and extremely successful. Things that I would have never thought would sell, sold. 95% of the items in the home sold. And it was amazing how they kept track of everything. I was really impressed with the whole operation.
All in all I couldn't recommend Legacy Estate Sales more, they were great at getting the sale completed, and items removed from the home. But more importantly, they were kind, thoughtful and professional. In times of difficulty, people who come in and help with respect and thoughtfulness become very dear to you. There is so much stress in situations like these, and I was amazed at how much these wonderful people's kindnesses helped me get through a very hard time. That really was incredible and her kindness set them apart in every way.

How do I begin to say how WONDERFUL this company is! It's actually so much more than a company. These people love what they do! And they are fantastic at it. They are knowledgeable, thorough, enthusiastic, warm (expect lots of hugs), and sensitive to the fact that every item in their sale was once someone's treasure. They are truly such rare gems. I am writing this recommendation after experiencing 1st hand what a truly professional, experienced and caring team can do in a relatively short period of time handling our 92-year-old mother's estate sale in Northridge, California. Linda had a sensitive and compassionate approach working with our mother, taking the time to listen to what she had to say about each and every item. Every member of the team was upbeat, a great sense of humor and a wonderful approach in the execution of a process that would have failed miserably had we tried this ourselves. In addition, we were amazed with the amount of preparation and research done on the varied collectibles as well as the set up of the sale. The turnout each day of the sale was a tribute to Legacy's following and marketing. The end result was spectacular with most everything sold or donated to appropriate and caring agencies. What could have been a nightmare became a fabulous experience for us.

I was able to see first hand how much Linda and her company Legacy Estate Sales care for their clients! Our company (Clear Home Solutions) was called in to assist in organize and manage the move for the home of a wonderful couple. Our clients loved working with the team at Legacy and they did an incredible job selling their treasures and belongings. It was a very successful sale, and our clients felt respected through the entire process. Also, from a professional standpoint, we had an excellent experience working side by side with Linda and her team. They truly care about the legacy that a lifetime's worth of treasures represents.
Legacy Estate Sales were a godsend for my family. After losing a beloved parent, my wife & I had to wade through the myriad of deep emotions to move forward. We interviewed several estate liquidators to help us through this rough period. Linda & Gary Baim stood out like a beacon. They were genuine, razor-sharp, experienced, hilarious & extremely good-willed. I marvel at how they actually made the experience fun. We looked forward to each subsequent meeting & phone call. Always prompt & available, things moved quickly for us. Their staff was honest & respectful- even the neighbors were impressed. They promised us more results than their competitors & they delivered. Linda & Gary of Legacy Estate Sales was referred to me by my Aunt who has frequented their Estate sales for years. She was insistent that I call them to handle the sale of my parents' prized possessions of 50 plus years. Legacy was the only company I called and from our first meeting, I knew I made the right choice. Linda and Gary drove a very long distance to meet for our initial meeting. As I opened the door of my parent's home I was greeted with a very warm embracing hug. Linda had already known the delicate nature of our sale since our mom had just passed. Linda and Gary could have not been more sensitive and respectful as we walked through the house while she viewed the beautiful collection of antiques, silver, glassware, furniture, etc. Linda repeatedly told me how grateful she was to being taking on this job and honored that I chose to go with her company.
After discussing the logistics and signing the contract, we agreed on a date to hold the sale. It couldn't have worked out more perfectly, coinciding with the eventual escrow closing of the house. Since there were so many items to research and tag for sale, Linda believed that it would take 1- 2 weeks to prep for the sale. Throughout the process, Linda was available to answer any questions or concerns I had, returning texts or phone calls in a timely manner.
I met Linda's team on the first prep day, gave them a key to come and go as need and they went to work unloading all their tables, displays, etc. To my great surprise, Linda's staff started to wash all the items that were dusty, and even polished all the sliver, which was a ton! Her team was efficient and hard working. They even hired a moving company to move large pieces of furniture from the top floor to the main floor so that she could keep people from wondering up to the second floor. That same day, Linda, her assistant, Christian and I walked through the house discussing the value of the individual items to be sold and what she believed the items would sell for. Christian was extremely knowledgable about some of the more valuable items my parents owned. If he didn't know the worth, he looked it up. Linda sensed that it was a hard conversation for me so she was patient and sensitive to my fragile feelings.
That Friday, prior to the day of the sale, I returned one last time to see the final set up. I was completely amazed at how beautiful my parents' items were displayed. I was also shocked as to how much had accumulated in 50 years. Every room was staged in a way that everything was visible, easy to sit on, touch or pick up. Everything was organized and priced with tags. That evening, a private security guard, hired by Linda, showed up for a night shift to make sure that the house and items in it were secure. The security guard remained on site throughout the sale.
I choose not to show up for the sale as it was going on but wanted to check in at the end of each night. Her staff was busy cleaning up and re-staging items that weren't getting as much attention. By the end of Sunday night, Linda had sold 95% of all the items in the house. I was completely amazed. Since there was some large pieces left, I had hired the same moving company used by Linda to move the remaining items to my home the following week. To my surprise, on that Monday when Linda's staff came to clean up and remove all their displays, a young man wondered by, directed to the house by some of the signs still left up in the neighborhood, and purchased literally all the remaining items. Every stitch of everything was gone! By the following Thursday, a line by line itemized list of all that was sold with a corresponding price was emailed to me. By that following Saturday, I received a check in the mail.
Linda, Gary and their knowledgeable, kind and helpful staff made this very difficult task one of grace and ease. I honestly don't know how I would have handled dealing with my parents' possessions had I not discovered Legacy Estate Sales. I thank my Aunt for that. It is clear that Linda is passionate about her business and genuinely cares about her clients. Her compassion, care and sensitivity was greatly appreciated during a very difficult time for our family. They delivered way beyond my expectations. I have already referred Legacy Estate Sales to many people including my Realtor who witnessed first hand the exceptional care and attention to detail this company gave to our sale. Linda and Gary of Legacy Estate Sales are beyond the best. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I was so disappointed when Legacy Estate Sales was finished with our sale. Linda, Gary and their staff were such a pleasure to have around, I miss them! Due to illness, we were forced to sell our home and many prized possessions while under extreme pressure. Leaving everything up to Linda, I trusted her to do whatever she had to do. The entire experience was so thoughtful, caring and professional, there aren't enough words to express it. You will be missing out on a great find if you chose anyone else.

A few months ago, my husband and I decided it was time to, as most people refer to it, downsize. We lived in our large home for almost 40 years, and made it into a showplace. We loved it, and all the possessions in it, but it was too big for us, at this stage of our lives, and we wanted something different.
We found a home that is about half the size of the old house, and it seemed just right. But, what to do with all the things in our house, in the backyard and patio, and everything in the garage, was so daunting a task, that we felt lost. Selling forty years of furniture, along with crystal, silver, knick-knacks, clothing, toys, and countless other things, was frightening. A real estate agent gave us the information about Legacy Estates, and the rest became history!
To begin with, have you ever had the experience of meeting two people, that you instantly felt like you knew your entire life? That's how Linda and Gary made us feel, from the moment they walked into our home. Unless you meet them yourselves, it's just about impossible to describe their warmth, their knowledge, their patience, their professionalism, and their kindness. They were such a pleasure to have in our home, we thought of them as family.
Their outstanding crew, came early every day, along with Linda and Gary, and helped us organize what needed to be done. There aren't enough wonderful words to describe these folks. They definitely became family as well.
Each crewmember had a different job, organizing and displaying all our things. Stella is the jewelry, and fine items, expert. Everything is tested to see if it's real, or costume jewelry, silver, or silver plate. As a matter of fact, one day Stella called me over, and showed me a quirky ring I gave her to sell. It had belonged to my mother-in-law, and I thought it was costume. Well, it wasn't! It was 14 karat gold, and had two small diamonds in it. I was speechless! This is an example of Stella's skill, and honesty. HONESTY and TRUST, are really at the top of the list, when it comes to the qualities each and every member possesses.
The actual sale was held on a Saturday and Sunday, and we ended up making more money than we had imagined! We left the house for the entire weekend, so they could do their thing, and we wouldn't be in the way. Linda and Gary are more than fair in what they charge a client. Everything is tagged, and bags are provided for the merchandise. Every single thing is listed, and the price they received is written down and accounted for.
Four days after the sale was over, they brought us a check, and all the paperwork that went along with it. We miss them, and as soon as we get finished with organizing our new place, we'll be seeing them. Without Legacy Estates, we'd have gone crazy.

Legacy is always on my list of "must see" estate sales. Their sales are well organized with enough staff to keep things moving smoothly. Linda, Gary and the crew are all very pleasant people. Some things might seem a bit high priced on the first day, but they are willing to negotiate on the 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that Legacy has an excellent reputation among other estate sale companies too.

Linda, Gary and their team did an amazing job on both my mothers house 5 years ago and last week at my mother in laws house. They dig right in and get everything organized, priced, and looking amazing. They've gotten us much more money than we ever anticipated for so many items. After the sale, they have liquidators who come in and buy out whatever is left and leave the place swept clean. Doesn't get any better!

We decided on an estate sale before moving to live out our golden years on an island in the Caribbean Sea. We shopped / asked around and were given contact information for a couple of folks who are versed in carrying out estate sales. Some did not even return my phone calls / email correspondence. When I contacted Linda and Gary of Legacy Estate Sales, there was a quick response and I got a good feeling after talking and meeting with both of them. They were both friendly, understood our dilemma, and seemed to have a full appreciation of the turmoil one experiences when seeking to sell off the items and valuables one has collected over the years spent in a home. For me, it's been twenty-six years of accumulating stuff I'm about to liquidate in order to move on and begin a new life. Of course, I was hesitant. One minute, I wanted to sell everything; the next minute, I was keeping everything for some reason or other. After talking things through with Linda, I came to realize that the only reason I wanted to hold on to many of my belongings was because I bought them some years ago. At the time, I know I had a good reason but can now no longer remember it. I eventually let go and made the right decision. I put everything in Linda's and Gary's hands, and I can honestly tell you today that I am extremely pleased with the way things turned out. Linda and her team were nothing short of fantastic. The time they spent in our home the week before tagging and pricing items and the way in which they seemed to handle, cherish, and complement our belongings made us feel as though they considered our possessions theirs, as well, and would get us nothing short of the best prices possible.
Overall, I felt very comfortable working with the folks from Legacy Estate Sales. They were very honest and explained everything down to the smallest detail. They left nothing out. What we thought no one would want / buy, they were able to sell. What we thought was worth very little they got more for. We left the house for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of the sale and received updates when we wanted them. At the end of the first day, I received as much of a rundown as I wanted as to how things went.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention some of the folks' names who were part of the Legacy team, as they were fantastic to work with. They are Gary, Christian, Janette, Linda, and Stella. They were simply the best.

My brother and I had to empty our moms house with 45 years of stuff accumulated, we had a real hard time figuring out what to do with everything. Legacy was recommended to us. I first met with Gary. Then with Linda. Our sale was put together with professionalism, care, thoughtfulness, and honesty. The staff was wonderful they are all so knowledgable.
